Compiled from data and information gathered from websites which came up as results from various Google searches, we present to you a compilation of information regarded the standard or average penis size in length measured at full erection.
Please be aware of how difficult it is to get accurate information on the size of a fully erect, male penis. It is difficult for many men to gain a full erection in a pressional and/or medical environment such as a hospital, doctor’s office, clinic, etc. Many men can suffer from "stage fright" which can lead to the penis failing to become fully erect. Other methods to gather penis size information involve polling men. The polling of men on their penis size requires many men to be completely honest about how large their penis is when erect. This is very unreliable because many men will tak on an extra inch or two. Also during this polling, it is required of men to all measure their penis the exact same way. This is also unreliable.
A study on whit ecollege men performed by the Alfred C. Kinsey Institute for Sex Research provided the followin results for average, erect penis size:
Average erect penis size, 6.16 inches in length.
A more recent study performed on 60 men by the University of California at San Francisco produced the folowing result for average, erect penis size:
Average erect penis size, 5.1 inches in length.
A brazilian urologist mesaused 150 men’s penis size while erect.
Average erect penis size, 5.7 inches in length.
More penis size tests and studies:
A study published in the September 1996 Journal of Urology concluded that average erect length was 12.9 cm (5.0 in).
A study published in the December 2000 International Journal of Impotence Research found that average erect penis length was 13.6 cm (5.35 in), (SD = 1.7 cm (.67 in), n = total participants = 55.
A study conducted by LifeStyles Condoms during 2001 Spring Break in Cancún, Mexico, found an average of 14.9 cm (5.9 in) with a standard deviation of 2.1 cm (0.8 in).
